Our townhouse is ideally placed with a prime position within the resort, overlooking La Torre's largest lake, on the 16th hole.

With a lake view 110 yards across, 85 yards to the right and 150 yards to the left this is a beautiful relaxing location to spend a few hours watching birds swooping low to the water or even golfers trying to keep out of it.

The townhouses are in blocks of four with the end properties, such as ours, the most sought after as their additional windows give a light and airy feel and have generally larger terraces. The end townhouses also have a 50% larger plot than the "inside" properties.

There is a private parking space integrated into the front garden plus lots of on-street parking. The only properties at La Torre Golf Resort with frontline golf views are the apartments and townhouses and, of these, it is only the townhouse where you have the convenience of driving up to your front door.

The ground floor accommodation has a large open plan lounge/diner with a well equiped galley kitchen off it. There is also a bedroom and a fully equipped shower room providing a convenient 2nd WC.

There are patio doors leading to a covered terrace with comfortable space for outdoor dining with that lake view. Our barbeque is located here about 10 feet from the table so you can enjoy the view whilst cooking.

We have a multi-speed ceiling fan for when the heat is too much and also to keep the flies away when dining al-fresco - it really works.

Upstairs there is the master bedroom with bathroom en-suite. Two windows and patio doors leading to a large terrace make this a lovely bright space and the orientation even gives access to the lake view from the bed! The room also has a wine fridge in which we supply some soft drinks.

On the terrace there is the all important wide expanse of lake dominating the view. The crowning glory is our hot tub which serves different purposes throughout the year. A warm comforting experience in the cooler months and a luxurious place to cool off in the hot summer months.

Many of the above are fairly standard although some by no means universally provided but in addition we offer the following "extras" free of charge:

• "Welcome Pack" is usually a chargeable extra and as one who has often arrived either late or on a Sunday I know this will be very welcome.
• Wireless internet connection. All properties on La Torre have the option to plug in to sockets however we are sure you will appreciate the convenience that wireless connection brings. Just bring your laptop and browse wherever you choose - inside or out.
• Wine fridge in main bedroom.
• A selection of films, documentaries & sport on DVD.
• Some games & jigsaws
• Spa / Hot tub
• A ceiling fan on the patio to ensure you comfort when dining "Al Fresco"
• A quality gas BBQ to enhance the outdoor dining experience.
